Mango was a wild tree growing in Tifton, Georgia, and was selected by Major C. Collins in 1970. Kentucky State University Pawpaw Breeding Program reports vigorous growth of Mango cultivar. The pulp can be more readily extracted than other varieties.

Fruit Large, rounded and plump. Very few seeds. Thick and durable skin.

Fruit Quality Very good.

Fruit’s skin color when ripe greenish-yellow.

Fruit Flavor mango.

Fruit texture very soft, juicy and creamy.

Flesh color light yellow.

Fruit size medium, round, averaging 8-14oz. per fruit.

Production moderate productivity. 40 to 50 fruits per tree.
